At ScaleHouse Systems, we want you to be completely satisfied with our compliance management platform. This refund policy outlines the terms and conditions for requesting a refund on your subscription.

Free Trial Period

All new accounts begin with a 10-day free trial of our Beta plan. During this trial period:

  • No payment information is required to start your trial
  • You have full access to all features included in the trial plan
  • You can cancel at any time without any charges
  • Your trial will automatically expire after 10 days unless you upgrade

Monthly Subscriptions

For monthly subscription plans (Professional and Enterprise):

  • 7-Day Satisfaction Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with our service within the first 7 days of your paid subscription, you may request a full refund of that month's charges.
  • After 7 Days: Refunds are generally not provided for the current billing period. However, you may cancel at any time and your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Prorated Refunds: We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months of service.

Annual Subscriptions

For annual subscription plans:

  • 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee: If you are not satisfied within the first 30 days of your annual subscription, you may request a full refund.
  • After 30 Days: Refunds for annual subscriptions after the 30-day period are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We may offer a prorated refund based on the unused portion of your subscription minus any discounts received for annual billing.
  • Downgrade Option: You may choose to downgrade to a monthly plan instead of requesting a refund.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Email Us: Send an email to support@scalehousesystems.com with the subject line "Refund Request".
  2. Include Your Details: Provide your account email address, organization name, and the reason for your refund request.
  3. Response Time: We will respond to your request within 2 business days.
  4. Processing: Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days and will be credited to your original payment method.

Exceptions

Refunds may not be available in the following circumstances:

  • Violation of our Terms of Service
  • Fraudulent activity or abuse of the platform
  • Requests made outside of the applicable refund period
  • Add-on services or one-time fees (unless otherwise specified)

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting our support team. Upon cancellation:

  • Your access will continue until the end of the current billing period
  • You will not be charged for future billing periods
  • Your data will be retained for 30 days, after which it may be deleted
  • You can reactivate your account within 30 days without data loss

Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your financial institution. Chargebacks can result in:

  • Immediate suspension of your account
  • Additional fees that may be passed on to you
  • Delayed resolution compared to our direct refund process

We are committed to resolving any billing disputes quickly and fairly when contacted directly.
